THE PURRFECT GIFT BOX?

If you've clicked on this blog post I can only assume that you, like me, are a self confessed cat lover and have a lot of love for the fur balls of cuteness? Yes? Good you're in the right place. If you have me on Instagram (@loveemilyjayne) then you will know I am constantly (and I mean constantly...) posting pictures of my two fur babies ElJay and Scrappy, and since my grandparents adopted a cat, Molly too. I won't apologise for being an obsessional and emotional cat lover as they just seem to bring me so much happiness! This being said you can imagine how delighted I was when I was asked if I would be interested in receiving the May edition of the Purfect Gift Box, without hesitation I squealed YES! Then casually tried to be all cool by typing a more collective response.

The boxes are the equivalent to a cat lover as the Glossy Box is to a beauty lover. They work through monthly subscriptions, although what I thought was good about the boxes was that you can just order a one off box if the chosen theme takes your fancy and you like the items that are included in the box

It just so happens that the parcel was delivered to my grandparents house so little Miss Molly was more than fascinated to see what was inside. Being just under a year old she really is into EVERYTHING and I think her curiosity can lead her into some mischief... funny mischief though! I mean who doesn't get excited by a new cardboard box with purple pieces of paper to play with?!

The niche with this box is that there are gifts for both you and your furry friend. My most favourite item of the entire box for myself would have to be the scarf with miniature gold cats on, so cute! Mays box with the theme of styling Spring also included a chocolate bar, fabric cat buttons, a leather purse and a necklace with dried flowers on for  us. And for our little fur balls: a collar, plaice organic treats and a polka dot fleece blanket. EDIT: my cat Scrappy LOVES the fleece blanket and has not left it since! Oh and the picture above shows how much Molly enjoyed the treats...

Would I get this box again? I think it all depends on what you are looking for, some of the boxes items may not be relevant or useful to you such as the collar wasn't for me. But if there was a particular month that offered a few treats for you and a toy you knew your cat would enjoy then why the hell not if it's what you want? For me personally receiving this as a gift would be welcomed but again depending on theme/content on the box I would have to consider if it would be suitable for me and my little sweethearts, as it could be a bit pricey if the content wasn't for you. Some of the boxes content can also be purchased individually from the store depending on availability  It's also reassuring to know that the gifts are from smaller businesses which is always something I like to support.

What do you think? Would you be tempted to buy your furry friend one of these boxes and give yourself some cat themed treats too? For more information you can visit: http://www.mypurrfectgiftbox.com

  3. This is such a cute idea! I see boxes for puppies all the time but never kitties. Mine stays with my mom at the moment but I've thought about getting another since I left him with her so she won't be lonely!

  4. I've seen this box on Twitter I actually follow them! This actually seems like a really good box but I would prefer if it had more in for the cat and less for the person!? Although that purse is so cute
